Our Love Story

Often, love stories are written in a straight line.
Ours took the scenic route. From teenage sweethearts, to separate paths, to finding our way back to each other – ours has never been quite an ordinary love story. And perhaps, that is what makes it ours.

How We Met

Some love stories begin with a first date, ours began in Grade 10. In high school, two teenagers met with no idea that this ordinary beginning would one day become part of something extraordinary.

We were young. We fell in love. We grew up together, filling those years with laughter, memories and the kind of love that felt perfectly at home in that season of our lives.

Then, life happened.

After high school came university, different provinces, different lives — and eventually, goodbye. We went our separate ways, believing that perhaps our story had reached its final page.
But some stories aren’t meant to end. They simply pause until the time is right.

Finding our way back

Eleven years later, life brought us back to each other. We returned to the story as different people — older, wiser and shaped by everything life had taught us along the way. Yet somehow, the connection was still there, familiar, easy like coming home.

Love had never really left, it had simply been waiting for us to find our way back.

The Proposal 💍

After finding our way back to each other, there came a moment that would change our story forever; with one question left to ask:

“Will you marry me?”

The answer was an easy yes. 🤍

After all the years, the distance and all the roads somehow led us back to one another. The moment felt less like the beginning of something new and more like the continuation of a story that had been waiting to be finished.

What began as teenage love had grown into something deeper — a love with history, intention and a forever waiting ahead.

The Next Chapter

And now, we stand at the beginning of our favourite chapter yet. A chapter filled with shared dreams, family, laughter, new memories and a lifetime of choosing each other.

Our story began in high school.
Life took us apart.
Love brought us back.
And now, we get to write the rest together.

The next chapter isn’t about finding each other. We already did. It’s about building a life, making a home, growing together and choosing each other — over and over again.

We kindly ask that you do not share or forward your invitation, as it is intended exclusively for the guests to whom it was sent.

4. Do I need to RSVP?

Yes, please confirm your attendance by the RSVP deadline.

5. Can I change my RSVP after the deadline?

The RSVP link will expire after the deadline. We kindly ask that you confirm your attendance before the deadline.

6. Will accommodation be available nearby?

Guests travelling from out of town are encouraged to arrange accommodation in advance.
